We supported a senior executive over a period of 6 months, as part of her personal development plan. From a non-finance background and with a role encompassing multiple reporting lines across several continents, we supported the executive by providing the finance context to decision-making and by explaining the impact of decisions on the performance of the business.

Aligned to their annual business planning cycle, we delivered a programme for the executive team to validate and test their understanding of external (macroeconomic) variables and their impact on the business. Scenario planning was then used to identify likely impact(s) of changes in macroeconomic policy (fiscal and monetary) on business performance, which helped to inform budget planning and strategy.
